The Sacred Land of Lord Rama

Sriramabadrachalam, popularly known as Bhadrachalam, is a premier pilgrimage site in Telangana, India. Situated on the left bank of the Godavari River, it is home to the famous Sri Sita Ramachandra Swamy Temple.

The temple's history is deeply intertwined with the life of Bhakta Ramadasu (Kancharla Gopanna), a 17th-century devotee who constructed the current structure. Legend says that the Lord Rama, in the form of Vaikuntha Rama, appeared here to fulfill the vow of Sage Bhadra.

Today, it stands as a symbol of devotion, attracting millions of pilgrims every year, especially during the grand Sri Rama Navami celebrations.
